“Propellants” describe a class of products used to deliver something under high-pressure as a spray. Applications include medical devices such as inhalers, personal and household care products such as tire inflators, and lubricants such as silicon spray.

Choices exist today to minimize the environmental impact of propellants. New-generation propellants have a significantly lower GWP compared to older technologies.
